Beta terms

The 2YES · Con·Sent beta is an early version of the Solid Consent, S.L. app, closed and by invitation. The company's details are in the privacy policy. The beta is free of charge, may contain errors and will change while it lasts.

• Invited people from a country where the beta is available.
• Aged 16 or over and, for each encounter, at least the minimum age required by the law of the country where it takes place. Currently it is 17 in Ireland and Cyprus.
• With their own phone number, verified by SMS.
• Only one account per person.

2YES helps two people express their consent clearly, freely and consciously before a sexual relation. It also lets them record it in a private, encrypted and time-stamped way.

2YES is not a contract, is not automatic proof, does not replace ongoing consent and does not provide legal protection. A prior record does not remove responsibility if violence, intimidation, incapacity or revocation follow.

Nobody can be registered without actively taking part from their own phone. No consent is activated without the signatures of both people.

Either person can revoke at any time with a single gesture. Revocation never depends on permissions, on the other phone's connection, on a payment or on the status of the account.

You may not use 2YES to:

• pressure anyone;
• register another person or impersonate them;
• create fake accounts;
• allow anyone under the required age to use it;
• try to breach its security.

If you do, we may suspend your account. Any existing records can still be revoked.

The content of each record is encrypted on your phone and 2YES cannot read it. Before signing each record, you will give your explicit consent for us to process the data about your sex life that it reveals. We will process it for the sole purpose of safekeeping the encrypted, sealed record. The app's privacy policy explains this.

We may change the app or these terms, or end the beta. We will give you reasonable notice. You will be able to export and delete your data at any time.

If an account is found to belong to a person under 16, it is blocked. Its records are kept blocked until the possible offence becomes time-barred. They are only handed over to a judge or to the police, at their request. Revocation remains possible.

2YES does not decide or judge for anyone. Each person is responsible for their actions. Solid Consent, S.L. is liable for the operation of the app as provided by law.

You can close and delete your account at any time, from the app or by writing to hello@2yes.life.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you can go to the courts of your domicile.
